At Rise & Shine Pediatrics, Dr. Alicia Morrison, MD FAAP, takes the time to truly know your child at every stage — tracking their growth, development, and overall well-being without the rushed, assembly-line experience of a traditional pediatric practice. All well visits are included in your Rise & Shine membership at no additional cost.
What Do We Focus On During a Well-Child Visit?
A well-child visit is a scheduled checkup designed to monitor your child's health even when they aren't sick. At Rise & Shine Pediatrics, each visit focuses on:
Growth tracking and vital signs
Comprehensive physical exam
Developmental and behavioral screening
Nutrition and feeding guidance
Sleep counseling
Mental and emotional wellness
Age-appropriate safety guidance
Vaccine review based on AAP/CDC schedule or individualized plan
School, sports, or daycare forms when needed
Time for parent and patient questions
