At Rise & Shine Pediatrics, many common lab tests and minor procedures are handled right here in our Boca Raton office — no separate facility, no referral runaround, no mystery bills. For members, most routine labs and procedures are included in your monthly membership fee. If anything requires an additional charge, Dr. Morrison will always tell you exactly what it costs before moving forward.
In-Office Procedures Included in Your Membership
The following procedures are covered as part of your Rise & Shine membership at no extra cost:
Dermabond skin glue — closure for minor cuts and lacerations without traditional stitches
Cryotherapy for common warts — safe, effective in-office wart removal
Suture and staple removal — handled right here, so you don't need a separate follow-up visit elsewhere
Umbilical cauterization with silver nitrate — treatment for umbilical granulomas in newborns
Ear lavage — gentle irrigation to clear earwax buildup causing discomfort or hearing concerns
Ear curettes — manual earwax removal, particularly common in young children
Lab Testing for Children
We offer minor in-office lab testing as part of your child's care. Most routine labs are included in your membership fee. Some specialized labs may require an additional fee — but you'll always know the cost upfront before any test is ordered. No surprises.
Meet Dr. Morrison
Dr. Alicia Morrison is a board-certified general pediatrician born and raised in South Florida. She completed her medical training at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University and her pediatric residency at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital.
She was recognized as a 2024 Florida Top Doctor and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
Her warmth, humor, and genuine investment in her patients are what families notice first — and what keep them coming back.
